Mycotoxins are natural contaminants of plant origin, found in many foodstuffs.

They are produced by various species of fungi (aspergillus, fusarium, penicillium) and are mainly present in cereals, fruit, walnuts, almonds, apples and processed food for human nutrition including these products. They are also present in grains, fodder and compound feed.

CARSO has carried out mycotoxins analyses for over 10 years on a wide products range : cereals, dried fruits, nuts, coffee, spices, wine, milk, baby food, fruit juice, apple-based desserts, animal feeds, various raw materials… under COFRAC accreditation, using such techniques as HPLC or LC-MS-MS.
